eibach pro question

Getting ready to install these-and I had a question. Which springs are for the front and which are the back? They are marked 4041.001 and 4041.002. Just want to be sure I have everything I need know before doing this project.

Thanks

I don't know about the part numbers, but the ones with the denser coils (less space between the coils) are the fronts

One way to find out. When you change them out compare the stock with the Eibach. Just as simple as that.

Seriously? Denser coils = more spring tension which is needed for the extra weight of the engine, etc. That was my understanding. Get clarification though, because I had mine installed by Excelerate.

Anyone remember who posted that thread where they put the springs on backwards? Maybe that will have info about it.

well, the taller spring has dense coils at the bottom, but get pretty wide at the top

the short spring has the same spacing throughout.

So we were saying the same thing lol...but the confusion was with the fact that the picture I posted was just a generic picture of a Pro-kit.
