EBC green stuff producing too much dust?

I am experiencing a lot of dust being generated by my EBC green stuff, which I heard are usually dustless. Is it normal? has anyone experienced this as well? thanks.

any brake pads will give brake dust, just a matter of a lot or less, period.

I havent really experienced a lot of dust. You must be braking pretty hard. I drive aggressive and havent had a problem

isn't that the basic knowledge? I have been driving my TL for almost 5 years now and of course i know there would be dust. I am just asking if EBCs were producing more dust than OEM, period.

Actually I have the EBC pads, and I have noticed a lot less dust then the OEM ones. It might just be you are heavier on the brakes?

EBC Greenstuff pads are formulated to create low dust, much less than OEM.

I'm someone who beats the hell out of my brakes. I have the EBC pads and have nothing but amazing things to say about them. I have never in my life had a car that stops this fast, and there is virtually 0 dust.

This is coming from someone who like to frequently heat up the brakes to get the most out of them. I have them fading all the time due to how hard I am on them.

All in all, I would say go EBC...

BTW keep in mind that they will dust like crazy while they are breaking in (normal) but once you bed them in, they begin to dust a lot less, and once you reach about 80% left on the pads, they virtually stop dusting
