Drop: is this right?

So i've been digging around the forums for the past few days, looking at different combo's and adjustments people have been doing to thier cars. I want to lower the car1.5-1.75 front and 1.0-1.5 rear. I have 152K miles and its time to replace the suspension.

Thing is I just got new tires 4 days ago. They're 205/60/R16's, I believe thats stock spec. Whatever thats what they are at least. I want to lower the car but dont want to eat my tires. Im not looking to increase handling, just tired of the 4X4 look.

I'm thinking H&R Sports with Tokico HP's? The H&R part# is 51858, and the Tokico's (front/rear) is HU3730 / HU2934. Im just checking with everyone here to see if anyone has had any problems with this setup / the individual products, and if those are for sure the right product numbers. Also, anyone think that is going to require a camber kit?

After all the searching I've done, the #'s on ride hieght, camber adjust, spring-strut combo's and other things has started to confuse me...So I figure'd I'd ask specifically for my tire size/products I'm looking into.

I'd get the HR Sports 50103 (they'll work too) since they have the new updated springs that eliminate the "sag" effect that some of the 51858's have. Some people had this problem. I hear the Bilsteins are a good match for the HR Sports. I have them and don't notice any significant tire wear issues. Got them installed at 30K miles with original tires/struts and just changed out my tires at 52K miles, but I had pretty much even wear. You must do proper rotations and if you don't have directional tires, use each tire on each corner of the car to get the max out of the tires.

The only reason you will get tire wear is if your alignment is out of spec. After the install wait a few weeks and then go get an alignment to correct any isues

A few weeks would be the MAXIMUM wait time! Get it done as soon as you can. Don't put it off! If it is a week or so, so be it. But in a perfect world you'd have it done the same day.
