can some on tell me the difference between my 99 tl n a 02 cl offset. im lookin on gettin a set of wheels i seen on a 02 cl that were 7.5 wide with a 42 mm offset n thet didnt stick out in the front n didnt rub in the back will these work on my tl. THANX

 

Offsets are the same. Wheel width differs between tl-p and cl-s by 1/2".

lawaia was referring to the stock rims. both have 55 offsets. i believe both cl and tl non type s cars are all 6.5 wide, but the cl-s is 7" and the tl-s is 6.5".

i had 18x7.5 with a 42 offset and 225/40 tires, and it did not stick out on my 02 tl-s. i also had the camber in the rear corrected and it was just shy of flush. you can check for pix in my sig. however, i did rub some of the rear bumper because of the camber kit but a lil trimming fixed it. if you leave the camber in, it should be alright. i believe the cl has bigger wheel wells so although it might be at the limit for the tl, it will be a better fit for the cl.
