comptech springs and hr springs?
ok i did a search about springs but i need to ask a question
ppl say the comptech springs is made for our car and it wont hurt the shocks as much as h&r springs do? I just wanted to lower my car and deciding between the two. I want to drop my car with stock shocks. whick one would be better?

I'd venture to say that stock shocks would last longer on CT than on H&R because they don't drop as much.
But the reality is, you should change your shocks at the same time.
If you get H&R sport make sure they are 50103 and not the Accord ones (51858)

i beleive the H&R is slightly more of a drop than the COmptechs... which is what the debate for me wass when i was lowering my car.. H&R's are 1.5/1.75 and comptechs are 1.0/1.25 which i think is the best drop for the car... IMO, you should go with the comptechs cuz they keep the car as MUCh to stock (ride wise) as the stock springs... one of my firends has H&R on his accord and its kinda ruff and veryyy bouncy and you can notice every little bump... thats just my 2 cents and i know thats a diff car and all that... but anwyayz heres another thing to give you perspective... Comptechs run about 300$ and are recommended by acura... H&R's run about 180$.... you pay for what you get

When you first had it installed, was the ride close to stock?

for reference, here's my TL-S w/ comptech springs installed by myself... not too high not too low. It also has a 'raked' appearance as well!

Denmatic,
You just posted EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I just got my 02 TL-S a few days ago. I'm looking to tighten up the suspension a little without dropping it too much (I really hate that slammed look). Your car looks really sweet with the kit you installed. That's probably what I'm going to do to mine.
Thanks!
Scott
