As to brands, thats what ever you think is the best. I can tell you that I just ordered new Tein's and I know a lot of my friends that have Teins are very happy with the way they perform.

Im looking for a less bumpy ride right now I have f&f type 1s. I've been thinking about getting the f&f type 2s or D2 coilovers.

for whats available for these cars and you want same height you get from F&F..

they're all the same... some random shock with XX amount of damping availability with some X kg/mm spring rates

but if I were to choose... i'd go with something like BC Racing and maybe put in an order for Swift springs to replace the ones they come with

ive dropped all my cars on teins. Was thinking about dropping the tl on the ff1's but heard the shocks tend to blow i should most likely be dropped on tein basics in the spring

TEIN and XLR8 ISC coilovers IMO. Let me know what you're looking for in a suspension and we can recommend the proper coilover.

At the risk of high jacking the thread. I have the same question.
Trying to decide which way to go with lowering my 03 TL. All I'm really looking for is to eliminate wheel gap and maintain a semi decent ride. I plan on staying on 17's with stock size tires. I was thinking of going with H & R springs and tokico shocks/struts, but most say not happy with the drop and cost is about the same as coilovers. To spend that type of money I'd rather have the option of height adjustment even if im not planning on dumping it. What do you guys recommend?
