Thinkin about gettin some tein ss coilovers for my 2000 tl....right now im on 205/50/16..will it be fine to do 225/45/17 on about an inch and a half drop in the front and 2 inch drop in the back?

The SS are a great suspension. We have sold and installed countless sets. I think you should be ok, but you are forgetting an important spec on your wheels...what is the offset? That is what is really going to get you the clearance...a high offset.
