coilover shocks/strut

coilover shocks/strut
I have a bad strut/shock(Ksport) I was wondering if I could replace it with ex. OEM strut/shock, or do I have to replace it with a ksport one. And when I get it fixed is it best to replace both? And would I have to readjust my hight again?
