coilover install help needed
Okay, I bought some Ground Control coilovers here through the Black Market. They seem fine. They are the right ones for my 2000 TL-P. So, this weekend I go to install them. The front are good. But, when I put the rear ones on my Tokico Illuminas, the springs seem to be too short when I reassemble the shock, spring, and top...even when I have them as high as they'll go. I know I have the right ones in the front. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
i have the same problem. i got the gr-2 shocks and the skunk 2 coilover. the rear spring is really short, but its the right part. now i have this knocking sound in the back. how do, or can fix this problem.
the spring being short is normal, when you start putting the car down you'll see...but if its too low stock shocks might be improper. idk if there's short stroke shocks for our cars
if you're hitting on the back, maybe try raising the car a bit and match up on the front so that it looks good...sounds like the bump stop man
