Civic SI wheels - thoughts?

So Im killing myself with The Great Wheel debate...

My current 04-06 TL wheels are a little scuffed... Im buying new tires and getting my kit on and painted so Im kinda feeling like my curbed 3rd Gen TL's will look a bit sub par. My two options are to buy another set of used TLs and make a good set combining the two and selling the remaining 4 and getting $250-300 back on the swap up. Second option is to go with new wheels entirely - sell my current TL's and put that $ into the new ones ofcourse. I dont want to spend a $1000 - and dont want to buy shit e-bay junkers that look nice but really deep down are crap, so I think the used OEM route will be my ticket. I like the new 07 TL and TLS wheels (didnt like the TLS at first, but they've grown on me) and today I found a set of 07 Civic SI's in chrome that caught my eyes. They're only a 7 inch wide wheel and they have the 45mm offset.

Will these confict with a near future drop?
What do we think of the look?
I did a really quick and dirty photoshop on them:

ok.... Ive been lookin, and relookin at my mock up - yes...
Not so hot - sitting next to the 04-06 TLs - they dont even hold a slight candle.

Oh yea - not my car... Stolen pics for examples. But that will be my kit = OEM front and sides with the WW rear. Only mines NBP! With a spoiler. Thanks for the honest opinions

looks a bit with the si rims. The black market has a few 04-06 TL rims in there, also there is one FS thread where the guy is selling ron jon inspyers that are silver that are 7.5 inches wide.

So I went and looked at some of those chrome civic SI's... they arent too shabby! Rolled one over and held it up, I dont think anyone would sneer inperson if they saw it. And only a trained eye would know they were civic rims.

SO - on everyone who on it...
haha - damn haters... j/k your all entitled to your opinions... even if they are skewed and warped... hah
