Bremmer Kraft Wheels - Opinions Please!

Team TL,

I am getting ready to sell my beloved 19x8 Chrome Zenetti Fives w/custom 45 offset for something new, looking at some silver rims now with a nice lip.

What are your thoughts on this wheel from TireRack.com

They are Bremmer Kraft Wheels

Model BR-01 (Silver w/machined lip)
19x8 / 45 offset / 66mm lip / 26.5 lbs (Chrome version is 1lb heavier)

This pic is the NON-CHROME version even though it is very shiny

or

Model BR-02 (Silver w/machined lip)
19x8 / 45 offset / 70mm lip / 26.5 lbs (not sure about chrome weight on this, probably 1lb more too)

This pic is the NON-CHROME version also

Here are the chrome versions just for kicks:

BR-01

BR-02

I think the BR-01 spokes will be too skinny-looking in a 19." The BR-02 appear to have more width. I think it'll look good.

^^^Yeah I feel you on the skinny spokes..if they were about 1/2" thicker or so. Then, the BR-02s have just a touch too much design in between the spokes..if it was just a smooth split five...if they still made the Zenetti Five in Hyper Silver, I would get those..but, no luck. And I don't think there is a way to "de-chrome" a wheel..if that was an option, I'd just keep mine and hyper silver them. But the nice lip and good offset (I'm used to a 45mm offset already), make this rim a contender in my choice...I think at the end of the day, I sell both my Zenetti's and my stock TLs Chromies and get Ebony A-Specs 18x8 and call it a day..oh the dillema...I guess it could be worse

I am normally not a fan of chrome but on a semi-luxury car I don't mind as much. I was actually looking at the chrome BR-01's for my AM TL-P for a minute...so the chrome BR-01's get my vote.

Not worth it to change wheels but if you are going to I would go with the silver BR-02's.

I was thinking about the Br01 in chrome myself, but I was kinda worried if I would be disappointed when I got them put on. Plus I'm not too familiar with the name brand, not even a website...Also they are pretty low priced, not sure how the quality is. If you do, I'm curious how it looks.

How much is "low priced"? I wouldn't pickup a set of rims that had a lip unless I was certain they were high quality IMO.

I like the first rim pictured:

With the offset and rim width mentioned you're going to either have to run negative camber or roll your fenders though.

^^^
Not so man, I have 19x8 with 45mm offset now and I just needed to trim fender tabs..and I'm on HR Sports..not worried about rubbing with this setup, I decided against all these anyway and settling on A-Specs or perhaps RonJons, or maybe a black wheel with chrome lip now to really freshen up the ride...I have a camber kit on the rear with dead on OEM specs and still not rubbing at the metal portions of fender.

Post a good side portrait or just off the side and I'll see what I can do in Photoshop.

^^^that sucks man, what offset, rim width you got? You know, i think it depends on brands of rims and tire styles...the Falken Azenzis ST 115 tires I have 235/35/19 have a rounded edge to the tire that is specifically designed to add performance somehow and to also accommodate narrow fenders or something like that according to their website. I think every manufacturer measures out their offsets different or something...I dunno..kinda like buying tennis shoes..size 11 Nike may be different than size 11 Reeboks, etc...good luck, hope you get it worked out

I think I'm running 18" by 7.5" with a 45 offset. I'm not sure what the specs are on the Azenis I'm running though. I may be running with a little to much rubber. No matter... my car is sidelined right now because the tranny just went out. I'm still under warranty though so it's all good.

Pics of my car with the rims etc.

Did you end up picking up a set of new rims yet?

Yeah they are a little fat... sorry for the thread high jack.

I'm running 225's and it turns out I didn't remember the correct offset when I posted. It turns out my rims are 18" by 8" with a +50 offset.

CJITTY, have you picked up a new set of rims yet?
