Is any one riding on TEIN One-pc coilovers (SS or Basic)

I'm about to re-do my suspension on my TL because for some reason my right rear shock keeps blowing.
Right now I have Neuspeed springs, and Tokico-blue HP shocks.
I've gone through 2 pairs in less than 8 mths. ( I can't explain why they keep on blowing)
Some people say the springs and the shocks may not be compatible, So I'm upgrading to TEIN Basic ($750.00). Anyone with them Please tell me how they work for you??

TEIN's are awesome, get them you won't regret it. Oh, and you should be able to get the basics for less than $750. I got my SS's for $850.

They may be expensive but by far the best coilovers you can buy... I would think H&R would be better than just the TEIN Basic and a lot cheaper too.

U don't sound too happy with the basics, and how come you're changing the suspension? Is it not worth the money?

i am happy with the basics. i just like to find the best ride for my car. plus the fact that most people dont have the apex ws. the basics is worth the money but when you find a $1200 suspension for only $530 its hard to it pass on and try them out.

I just had the Tein Basic installed on my 02 TLS. I am very happy with the performance of the coilovers. It is stiff enough for back roads yet soft enough as a daily driver. Braking & acceleration improved drastically as well. The car no longer feels floaty nor dips coming to a stop. I would definitely recommend it.

anyone seeing negatives about the tein? say versus a koni + groundcontrol setup

im considering one or the other but cant find anything that makes it an easy decision. levels of damper force isnt a huge thing to me so 16 vs 5 or whatever isnt a HUGE selling point. just wondering of quality, etc. has anyone blown a tein? whats the course of action, etc thanks!

I just put the Tein SS in my TL last week I can't tell you how good the car drives I assumed sine it was drop the ride would be harsh but it drives really smooth. Go for the extra money and get the Tein SS you wont be disappointed.

one year warranty. tein says they'll last 50-70k miles (wtf ever that means). im gonna go with 'yes' (aka 'they better because ive got some')

i kinda think that like anything else its hard to say but they are reputable. im not sure if they can be rebuilt and what that procedure is but if they blow and im SOL i'll deal with it then.

OH YEAH why is this in photogallery? haha

Also if i dont use cash it will be $950 bucks and $ 360 bucks for the edfc, jesus.

i have been hearing that the tein ss have noises comming from the rear springs? becasuse they rub against eachother when they are compressed. for those have the ss does yours make noises? also could you take off the comptech rubber boots and transfer them on the teins? cause i have the silver comtechs and am replacing them soon with the tein ss.
