I recently asked about 19x8 size rims if they would fit on my 0-2 tl, but now, I want to find out if 18 x 8.0 with 43+ offset would stick out of the fender and rub.

Mine is lined up just about dead even with the fenders. 8.0 ET43 will extend an extra 5mm compared to my setup, for a total of 31mm compared to stock.

 

 

So, whould they stick out?
This off-set thing is pretty complicative to me.

 

they would not stick out but they will rub. I have a 18x7.5 with a +48 offset and I rubbed. Had to roll the fender slightly and trim the tabs. I also have a tire that has a big shoulder to protect the rim.

What size of tires were you using when they rubbed?

 

I will be using 225-40-18 on 18 x 8.0 rims with 43+ offset.
Would these rub with 1.2 inch drop?

 

For the last time, YES THEY WILL RUB!!
8" width REQUIRES a minimum offset of +50.
