Another member looking for suspension help!
Hello all! i used to frequent the forum some years ago but car customization took a back seat to other things in my life. But now I'm back with a new login since i couldnt remember my old one (told yall its been awhile!)
I lowered my daily driver on H&R Sport springs and Tokico blues about 5 years and 50-60K miles ago, so now I am in the market for new parts. I like the feel of my current setup; stiff but not uncomfortable and never bottomed out. BUT i scrape like hell.
I was thinking of going with a set of springs that were not quite as low, such as the Tein H-techs, which are -1.5 in front and -1 in back (mfr specs) as compared to the H&Rs which are -1.75 and -1.5.
Does anyone have experience with both the H&R Sports and Tein H-Tech springs and can tell me how they compare to each other?
I've also been seeing a lot about coilovers, especially the Function and Form Type 1's. From what I gathered on here, they will go LOW, but I want to know if you can adjust them to only -1.5 front and rear. What about ride quality? Bottoming out?
What about TEIN basic coilovers? If I'm reading the chart in that link right, then that means it will drop my car at LEAST 2", correct? If thats the case, those are definitely a no go.
Also, other suggestions and input are welcome, bearing in mind that I don't want anything lower than -1.5" in front, and budget is KEY!
I know its a lot of questions, but I appreciate everyone's input!

There was an embedded hyperlink in my OP, but you can't tell its there unless you mouse over the text. Here is the link the TEIN basic coilovers:
