All Work Wheels Forged?

Hey,

Are all Work Wheels forged? I'm looking to pick up a set of 19's for my daily driver (usually driving on the freeway to and from work) and want to make sure I get a forged wheel so they don't bend. Thanks!

Mike

It's between the Euroline FS and the Termist TS1 (multi-piece).

they'll still bend regardless. my bro has 20" 2-pc meisters on his g35 and he slightly flattened the lip on two wheels. it's more about driving style and being extremely careful. my opinion...i feel monoblocks are probably less prone.

That's good to know. Is it risky running a 19" cast Work wheel if I drive a lot or are they still durable?

forged or not if you are not careful with big pot hole they will bend...depends on manufacture. work wheel is pretty strong.

Everyone loves to talk about how strong forged wheels are, and they are strong, and light, but if its a multipiece wheel, its the inner spoked portion that is forged, not the outer barrel.

A higher quality wheel tends to have a stronger barrel than a cheaper rim, and forged wheels tend to be higher quality, but as far as bending the barrel is concerned, thats the weakest part, and it isn\'t forged.

So when you bend the barrel is the wheel still going to drive fine or do you develop a hop or wobble?
