Alignment after strut replacement?
I think the answer to this is no, but just wanted to confirm. I just had my alignment done recently and now want to replace struts w/ aftermarket (keeping stock springs). I don't need to redo the alignment if I'm not changing out the springs, correct (assuming car doesn't pull, etc)?
Also, is it OK to take this to a tire place to do (Big-O, Evans, etc) or should I just stick w/ my independent Acura guy, even though he charges more for the labor?
Thanks

Since you're removing the suspension components to install the new shocks, you should wait a few weeks then get an alignment. Do you have to? No, but if you're alignment is outta wack, you may cause premature tire wear.

new shocks mean a trip to the alignment shop
I dont think you need to wait more than a day- there is nothing in modern shocks to settle in- they are what they are

Agree with the others. Any time you mess with the suspension you should get an alignment.
