19x8.5" et 38 offset
This whole sizing gets real difficult for me. Particularly the offset, done many research but can't seem to understand. Do you know if this will fit our 2nd gen TL? if so what tires will work? I'll be running this size all around. I understand the whole bumper tab trimming, rolling fenders will have to be done. any suggestions??

do you really think 215/35/19 are too stretched for my ride? I got a hook up from a buddy that has brand new BFG Gforce KDW2. Can't beat it if they're free. just afraid that they will go bad quick since i do drive this car ALOT. Meaning about 75 to 100miles a day for work.

My buddy that hooked me up with the wheels say that the 215 are a little too narrow and suggest that i get 225 or 235. I know some of you say 215 will be cool but i can't decide. Help! I want to throw them on since i have everything, i just need to mount them, but i want to make sure that it will satisfy me. ANy pics with 215 on 19" x 8.5 wheels??

is that your car in your avatar pic? if youre at that height id say go with 225. i dont like 235's theyre just too wide for me. and 215's will look smallish if youre not slammed. overall i say 225's

even if you go lower though, 225's are still the normal size. itll still work just fine whether youre at your current height or if you go lower. what i meant i guess was 215's are gonna look a bit more odd at your current height.
