19" RDX A-Specs on a 2G
19" rim, +45 offset wrapped in 245-40s..any thoughts/rubbing concerns? Still riding 4x4 here () so no issues from being slammed but I wanna know how well they'll fit and if I'll rub in any way.
I wanna find out how wide those RDX rims are but the RDXers don't frequent their boards as much as you guys and I haven't gotten a response. Anyone here know the width by any chance? I've tried researching but keep coming up short on width.

Those look like them but I dunno if that's the right width. I mean, the TL A-Specs are 8" wide and 245 are recommended for them while 245s are recommended for the RDX A-Specs as well. Ergo, they are also 8" wide.

2004-2008 TL A-Spec rims are 18x8.5. If you ordered an A-Spec kit these are what you got. The 18" accessory wheel Acura sells which looks like an A-Spec rim but isn't is only 18x8.
I have the real deal A-Spec rims on my 03 CL-S, they are most certainly 18x8.5 it says it on the back of the spokes.

Hmm..well now that's just confusing. I know that there are a few 18x8.5 gunmetal A-Specs that only came out with a few 04(?) TLs IIRC. All the rest are 18x8 as far as I know/ have seen.
Also, the place I bought my A-Specs confirmed 19x8 when I called them to verify the specs so I know what I'm getting now.
So if the accessory wheels that Acura sells aren't really A-Specs, then who are they made by?
Also, why would they give some one rim for ordering the A-Spec Package from the beginning, while giving others another when they buy them as an accesory? I feel like making/selling two sets of almost the same rims would drive up the price because of production.

I'll get pics up when I get everything together..it may have to wait til summer tho cuz I don't wanna possibly mess up brand new rims with the possible snow this winter..and all the sand/gravel they'll put out cuz OR drivers suck in the snow

If you can find the 18x8.5 ones and you are lowered, you will most likely have rubbing problems in the rear if you go with the 235 tire.

Yea I saw the accord pics but I never found that chop. The accord has really small sidewalls..dunno if I could go that small.
Yea they look damn good..can't wait til they get here and spring rolls around so I can get some pics up. I wish the silver finish were as cheap as the chrome so I coulda bought those but for 500 NIB I'll take chrome!!

these rdx wheels were my 1st choice until i learned that the specs on the HFPs were a perfect fit for the 2nd gen...55 offset and 19x8..sits in the fenders perfect..no rub and perfect tire wear..so i went HFP..these are 45 offset..not bad, but not oem offset (55)..the accord has smaller sidewalls probably based on the simple tire calculator to keep the overall diameter the same as his stock tire/wheel diameter..he could of probably gone 235.35.19, but not sure what his setup was

I just got my rims on Tuesday!! I wish it was spring so I could actually put them on cuz I don't wanna put them on now that winter is coming down on us and risk ruining them so soon. But it'll just gimme more time to get money for tires
I'll post some pics when I finally git 'er all set up and pretty lookin

^ Just look for wheels with the same bolt pattern and they will fit. For how well they'll fit..well that's harder. Offset and width both play a role in how well they'll fit in the fender and whether you will rub or not. On the first page of Tires, Wheels, Suspension, there's a stickied thread that explains more.
