17X7 40 offset ????

Question 17X7 40 offset ????

First i now search is my friend dont worry been there done that and i know i'm a noob 4 post but stopped counting the hour of reading lol and the nagging of my girlfriend too what your still on that acura site damn it !!!!.So to make it short I'm on a budget 2 ex wife 1 kid with each 1 you get the picture hehe.I've found some Silver konig next at a good price planning to put on some 225-45-17 i've been reading but just to make sure, and keep up the good work guys!

17 X 7 with a 40 offset is a bit too low. I think you'll have a problem with the wheels sticking out past the fenders. Check this thread out for some guidance: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/01-cl-s-stuff-sale-121066/

I agree. The +40 is really pushing it. Many have gotten away with that size but with a +42 and have had to roll fenders and cut tabs to help eliminate rubbing. and with a 225 you will run into issues

correct me if i'm wrong i've done my homework so it will be 215-50-17 on 17inch 7 inch wide witht a 42 offset should be just bordeline

And i forgot if i choose to go to 18 inch what would be needed in term of size offest etc .... thanks in advance guys
