Windshield washer nozzle replacement
I've had problems with one nozzle of my 2002 TL. I've tried all the various tricks and tips, resulting in a cracked nozzle. Water comes out, but it doesn't really spray so much as squirts. Partly effective, but I'd like to replace the nozzle.
But it's pretty hard to see because it's under the hood on the side that doesn't lift, and it's not very obvious how it comes off. I don't really want to break anything and make it worse, so I'm wondering if any of you have ever removed this part.
I've got the insulating cover off on the inside of the hood, and plan to leave it off until I fix this. I'm assuming that's OK - anyone know if it's not for some reason?

The service manual literally has no instruction on how to remove those nozzles. Good luck
The hood insulator is supposed to protect the paint from the heat of the engine bay. I've also heard that in the event of an engine fire, the clips will melt and the insulator will drop onto and hopefully smother the fire. I think this is a little far-fetched although it could work I guess.

The nozzle are actually made of two pieces. The red is one piece and the blue is the other.
To release it just use a needle nose pliers and pinch inward on the two release tabs as indicated by the two arrows.
I believe the image you provided is from an Accord. Maybe it would work, and if I get the old one off, I'll try it.

The pic is self explanatory.
Tip: Since the screw is plastic, the threads will strip easily. So when you start to back the scew out be sure not to push the screw driver into the screw, instead keep the weight of the screw driver as light as possible so there's room for the screw to come out.
In other words don't push so hard that you are pushing the plastic screw back in to the plastic clip/nozzle.
