Windshield Question

Hey, do any of you guys know if the TL windshield is acrylic-coated or something? I used a kitchen type scrubber pad on an area and it is now scratched? Whazzup with that? Any ideas of how to get the scratches out?

Just a sponge type that you buy for cleaning teflon pans that has a scotch type scrub side to it.

Tempered glass scratches easily.

The only thing I can think of that might work is some 3M rubbing compound. Not sure if it will do any good though.

Never use a rough cleaning pad or any thing the like on a windshield. Hell even those windshield washers at gas stations will scratch the windsheild

Well, I feel rather stupid about the whole thing. Never knew glass would scratch that way. I have ordered a 3M product that I hope will help. At least the area I scratched is not in my field of vision. I have to look for it. But it bothers me, especially since I did it myself.

They make polishes for glass and lots of windshield places can polish the windsheild. Its actually nice to have done if your windshield is a few years old to help get rid of the pitting from being sand blasted from driving down the road.
