if u want a nice looking roll, use the machine, most tire shops have it, if u dont really care use a babseball bat or metal bar. put it on top of the tire and push down

The proper tool is the best way. You can use a wood baseball bat too. Have a friend and a heat gun to heat the paint so that it doesnt crack as easy. Take your time.

i just recently learned that alot of people actually dremel or use another tool to cut/grind off the inner lip. if you do it carefully, you dont have to worry bout paint cracking. theres a thread around here somewhere

True, but then you have to worry about the same effect of having paint crack because you'll have to repaint the exposed metal left in the inner lip to prevent rust.

Then you have exposed metal to rust. Dont cut the metal. We dont cut the lips. We cut the "plastic" bumper tabs and roll the lips

yea, ive been debating which way to go while i wait to install my teins. the guy in the thread said he has no problems with rust, but i do live up in new england so my odds are pretty bad. ill do some more research into the lip cutting and see if its worth the risk

lips are roll with paint removal on the inside. have to cut the bumper a little..... spring in rare is popping.. whats the meaning to that. hoping all this customization is worth it. rides incredible though despite of the scrubing.....

ps some please link me to host the before and after pics... new to the game

thanks

Sorry for the noob question but what does rolling the wheel mean?? Is it to get rid of the plastic that sits above the wheel so when your low it doesnt rub??
