More likely it is the brake pad indicator. You can look through the wheel and visually check the pads.

something is definitely rubbing on my back passenger side wheel. when i apply the brakes fully i can hear a rubbing/grinding noise. i was on vacation for the past week and havent had the chance to have a look at it. ill probably bring it into the shop tomorrow to have it checked out.

ok i had my brakes checked and i need my back rotors and brakes replaced per CarX. i guess my rotors were measured at 3.20 and 3.24.

i was also quoted at $423 at CarX and approx $480 at Acura Dealership.

you can do it yourself, not that hard, you just need common tools like a jack, socket wrenches, and impact screw driver and about 1.5hrs of your time. plus the materials of course. you can get the rotors turned, i highly doubt they have worn to thin to be resurfaced. you can do the whole thing for under $75 if you have the above tools.

brought it to midas and they did it for $360 and threw in a free oil change.

two acura dealerships quoted me $480 and $502. CarX $423 and Midas was $360. My rotors were shot and needed to be changed out.
