What low beams do I need?

Recently both of my headlights went out in my 2001 acura tl-p, and I'm looking at replacements. But it seems like every website I go to, or every form I look at tells me I need something different. I would appreciate it if someone could explain exactly what I need, with links or a diagram or something, and the different options I have as far as HID conversions. I would like the brightest lights at the lowest cost, but I don't know how to go about that.

From: Baja, México.
You need D2R bulbs which only OEM Suppliers will sell.
What will fit but will get you some glare is D2S bulbs that you will find on ebay for pretty cheap.

Stock HID color is 4300KV which is ember.
Upgrade is 5000KV aka Hiper White.

welcome
please read any other the other 10 current threads on this exact subject, plus the diy threads on same

STAY on 35 watt ballast, suggest 5000K color bulbs

cheapest good quality is HID Kits | Conversion Kits | Xenon Headlights | HIDeXtra 60 dollars after code newfb for 2 new bulbs, 2 ballast and 2 ignitors- all you need to fix the problem we have!!

for a few more dollars look up morimoto brand units

They are called Conversion KITS but don't worry- we have HID so its just a parts swap- throw out the old and install the new, 2 hour project.
