Warped Dash

Does anyone else have this problem? I have an 03 TL-S with 70K and the dash is getting worse. I noticed when I bought it last year that the dash seemed pretty wavy, but I thought might be normal. Then I noticed the foam padding showing in parts of the dash when you stand outside and look in.

Do you park outside in the sun a lot or something? Invest in a sun shade...

Or do you use any chemicals to clean the dash? I haven't heard of this before...

It's in the sun at work. In the garage at home. The car was originally from L.A. so I'm sure it got it's fair share of sun down there. I just use Formula 2000 on the dash.

The dash is probably made of the same foam material used in the door panels. There have been many forum reports of the door material warping and bulging over time.

Talking Dash....

I think you should invest in a windshield deflector.

I have one I bought at the dealer...it fits perfectly.
