After exiting the highway and slowing to a stop, I heard this weird humming sound and the triangle (!) light blinking. The sound and light kept coming back after giving it some gas or stopping. Other than that, the light doesn't come on when driving normally. If I disable VSA, there are no issues whatsoever.

I've read a few threads, and some recommended replacing the wheel speed sensors, but all the threads stated having the lights constantly on. This is not the case on my car, but can it be related? I did change the upper control arms a few weeks ago. Any thoughts?

go back and find the loose or damaged wire that occured during the control arm job

sometimes you can fix a wire--sometimes its sensor time
no need for all- just the bad one

get codes read at parts store- should give something for speed sesor

 

Thanks a lot. I'm leaning towards the driver side being bad since I also had replaced the wheel bearing. The code wouldn't show which side, would it? And is it worth getting OEM or aftermarket is fine?
