I have a buddy with an '03TL-S who just changed his battery. He did the radio code and that was OK, but now the Auto function on his side window no longer works. Coincidence? Could it be related to the battery change?

yup its a battery related thing, u just have to let it learn that auto function. i dont know the special way of making it work, but i just hold the window switch up and down a couple of times and it relearns.

The learn procedure is in the manual. Start the car and push down on the switch till the window is all the way down and fully open.

Then pull back on the window switch to completely close the window. Then continue to hold for a second or 2 more.

It should now be programed.

Here is a link to the online manual.
