If you can not shut the car off, it could be the ignition switch.
Revving back and forth, could be vacuum leak or intake manifold gasket
Won't shift pass neutral, shifter cable stuck or broken, or manual valve in the transmission wasn't index right.You have more than 1 problem here. I would bring the car back to the mechanic and have him check out the r&r work and transmission. He screwed up somewhere in there, could be a coincident that something is wrong on the engine side.

i don't know any codes as of yet - i'm not even sure if he's gotten a chance to look at it yet.
and no, the ECU has never been replaced. maybe thats the problem?

I have same problem, got 122000 mileson 02 TL-S and Im on 2nd transmission(1st 66000,2nd start slip on 121000) trying to work out with dealer to get another free one
Do you think they will go for that or they may cover half off the price, My codes reading po740 tcc?

did you have the trans fluid changed once during the 60kmiles on this trans?

but it never hurts to go in person and speak to the service MANAGER about your situation..student..baby..family has 4 acuras, loyal customer of this dealer, have a service history of any kind with this dealer
whatever you feel is why they should give you half off or more-
the dealer doesnt make as much on the job- so the manager has to feel its worth helping you--tell them you will give all 10s on survey cards!
