My trunk lid seems to be uneven at the front. What happened was that I loaded up the trunk and had an object close to the trunk lid arms. When I closed it, the truck lid seemed to have bent upward slightly. I don’t have a photo yet. I will post later.

How do I bend the trunk arms or lid back to where it’s even with the car? Will this effect aerodynamics and my eventually my fuel economy?

 

lol, i highly doubt it, and if it will, you wont notice it. Find a diy on how to take off the trunk, grab a rubber mallet and do your best. At a body shop this would cost anywhere from 50-100 judging by your description.

 

It will not affect aero or fuel economy, as you are not doing 180mph to work and back...
