Hi. My transmission has been having some overheating problems after towing for about 60 miles. The fluid hasn't been changed in god knows how long, and other than overheating if I'm not careful when I drive it it feels just how it did before it started overheating. I'm just wondering if just doing a comeplete transmission service and installing a transmission cooler will solve my problem, or do I have a bigger issue than the fluid on my hands?

 

You're towing with your TL? Every Honda vehicle that has factory towing support (Odyssey, Pilot, etc) is required to have a transmission fluid cooler and PS cooler when installing the tow package.

What are you towing exactly?
