I checked ownerlink and found under recalls that my 03 TL(34000 miles but off regular warranty) was recalled for trans. Does this mean it is covered under extended warranty?
It stated it was called in and FIXED. What does that mean? It does not state anything about extended warranty. I changed and flushed out trans(6 qts all together). The trans filler nut had what looked like a spray unit mounted through it. Many thanks to various threads about changing out fluid. My fluid was black and filthy. Some accumulation on the magnetic drain plug.

 

No it means you were part of the oil jet recall to install a sprayer bar=should said FIXED

Not same as extended warranty- the ownerlink would say so
otherwise it would say trans warranty extension OPEN

 

Totally normal for debris on the magnetic drain plug.
Total for complete flush is 3 times at ~3.5 qts per change
