Trans oil cooler

Well the time has come for my transmission to fail.. I'm gonna be swapping out the trans with a another used tl trans I got for a good price. I'm thinking about installing a trans oil cooler, has anyone used an aftermarket one on our cars before?

Yes, Use the search button for more answers, but having said that it wont keep it from failing. I had one on after my first failure and had 4 failures after that.

For the Price of them, I have 2 XD (Small ones)..
Rocking on a Original Design Trans Rebuilt almost 90K Ago now!!

Darn thing dont want to dieeeeee!!!! My AV6 Trans is waiting in the garage almost 1 year now.

Here you go. Heat is always the enemy. Removing the heat will prolong the atf service life. See the temperature chart below. Just 20 deg difference, will cut atf life in half. B&M cooler fits perfectly.

Yes, trans coolers help keep fluid cooler, But remember, fluid temp isnt an issue for the trans problem, Getting enough of it to cool the part is the problem.
