Tranny Help

I have a question I have a 2002 Acura TL and wanted to know if a 2001 TL type s transmission would fit my car?

Use search feature and type accord transmission swap. They are more reliable option.

There is no 01 type S. it's either not type S or not 01

Or the junkyard could have entered a typo in the system said it was a TL and not a CL? There were 01 Type-S on the CL.

Either way.....unless ya know that the tranny is good and also fairly priced, it's a much better option to locate the much more improved '06>'07 Accord V-6's 5 speed AT for a few bucks more. This will be your best bet on a used tranny replacement that will be more reliable and last longer than the original TL's.
