I got a 03 tl-s, the car keeps dieing, so i changed the alternator and battery with oem parts. worked fine for a week, started dieing again, and now the battery light, vsa light, and brake light is on, and the dash lights up real dim. i have a viper auto start on the car that stoped working, i was told it is not the auto start, but idk! i have no idea what this can be, any suggestions??

 

Check the wiring harness if its corded on the battery terminals.
Check to make sure its getting ground.

Take a multimeter and put it across the two terminals of the battery.
Report back what the voltage is with the car off, in accessory mode, and while starting the car.

 

did you have the charging system tested before and after the new parts install?
For sure they were bad, or you guessed?

If the viper quit, something in the wiring is probably at partial fault
have you removed its fuse-power lead? who said its not at fault?
in a strange way- it could be even be trans torque convertor--need more info!!
