Tl 2000 Instrument cluster + Wipers

Hey, I'm currently preparing a 2000tl for 6cyl class dirt track racing.

My fuel pump and my ignition stopped working at the same time last week. I read on these issues and quickly spotted the problem: the main relay was failing. Before replacing it, i spoke to my crew partner who raced many hondas in the last decade and he told me to bypass the relay by joining the wires 3,5 and 7 on the relay diagram which are ignition, pump fuel and key switch.

Since those wires were put togheter, the car is running fine but the instrument cluster AND the wipers are not working anymore. The needles are simply dead as if the key wasn't turned on. The lights in the instrument cluster seem to work fine and the windshield washer too.

I checked all the fuses on the car visually and with a multimeter and each one that may be related with the instrument cluster or the wipers is working.

I'd like to know what could be the source of these issues.... I'm guessing it could be the same for both issues since it happened at the exact same time.

Could it be that the current that goes to the instrument cluster and the wipers was passing through the relay through a wire I didnt bypass ?

Could it be a fuse i don't think is related to those accesories but finally is ?

I'd be surprised if it was the connector behind the instrument cluster since i didn't touched it or wires around before it stopped working. But just to make sure, i'd like to know if theres is a way to check to connection without removing the cluster since the roll cage design is preventing me from removing it easily.

thanks guy for your help... Any advice would be appreciated, even if it just partially solve my problem.... Its for racing so i just need my temp gauge and my tach, nothing else.
