timing belt & water pump diy???

have any of you done it yourself? on ebay there are a few sellers, for under $200, selling a timing belt/water pump/tensioner package.

if i were to do this myself, are there any special tools i would need? or would i be best off paying a shop to do it?

You can get teh parts you need from the dealer for about the same and you would be getting OEM parts that you know are good.

Thanks for the link. It was very informative and exactly what I had hoped to find. Been a while since I've been back here and see the information is still as good as ever.

Anyone thinking of going through this process using anything other than OEM parts or better is begging for a heartbreak. You coughed up the dough for an Acura. Cough up the dough for the parts. The old saying "you get what you pay for" isn't old for no reason. There's a reason tools at Harbor Freight cost what they do.
