Timing belt replacement & cruise control removal?

I repaired my cruise control recently (cable was jumping the 'yoke' - repaired with ABS fix - see my thread in the 2nd Gen TL forum), and saw in another post that the cruise control / throttle assembly is removed when doing the timing belt/water pump maintenance procedure. Is this true?

If so, I'll need to 'undo' my fix before getting the timing belt replaced, then re-do the fix after the maintenance procedure, else Acura will try to fix the throttle assembly and charge me for that. Or perhaps explain to the tech what I had done so they could try to preserve my fix?

Thanks for any thoughts on this!

Terry
