Tight Steering: Design or Problem??

I recently purchased a 2002 TL Type S and immediately noticed that the steering was so tight that it is not comfortable to drive with one hand. I owned a 2000 TL and it was much different than this. Is the Type S steering supposed to be that tight or should I have it adjusted?

Check the fluid level and condition
Are you feeling the speed sensing feature- makes it tighter at speed and more powerful at low speed for parking?

I think just the way the car made.
Some car does have tighter steering.

The power steering fluid level is right in the middle of the low and high lines. As far as 'condition', what do you mean?

The steering is much stiffer on the highway than in the driveway but it is much stiffer than i would imagine it should be...

Does the fluid look fresh and clean or contaminated and in need of replacement?

Go to a car lot and drive another one like yours

normal, my my tl-s is stiffer than the my parents TL-P steering. Plus the turning radius on the TL-p is smaller compared to the TL-S's which is a +1 for the TL-P owners.

But my friend has gotten acura to adjust his TL-S to have the equivalent steering radius as the TL-P's during his alignment
