TCS Light

If I stay below 55-mph, the TCS light never comes on. If I go above 55-mph, the light doesn't come on until I drop below 55-mph, and it stays on no matter the speed. After shutting the ignition off, it repeats this process.

FWIW, my CEL is on with a code of P0401, which I plan to remove and clean the intake manifold this weekend (I highly doubt this has anything to do with it).

Any thoughts?

register your car here by VIN and make sure you are covered on the 7/109 trans warranty
https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura
You may need a trans!!
The actual TCS only works below 15 mph- its for starting on snow, if you get wheelspin detected by the speed sensor- it applies brake to the faster side

If you are going to pull the intake- spend 100 bucks at www.outlawengineering.com and get a thermoblock spacer to put in while you have it apart- great investment!!

I have the same problem, and I've had the transmission replaced too. I would like to remove the intake manifold to clean it, but I'm considering just dropping it off at a shop near here.

If you happen to clean it and the CEL/TCS light goes away, let me know! Just not sure if I need to replace the entire thing or not

My heated seats only warm up on the bottom part, my daylights are not running anymore and my tranny is screwed up... does anyone have good experience with this car?
