subwoofer causes rattling

subwoofer causes rattling

I got an 02 tl. Ive had a system for a while. The trunk is dynamatted but something starting rattling under the car recently. has anybody else had this problem or know what is probably rattling. Its pretty loud and doesnt sound good.

it could be the two little bars towards the top back of the trunk.....usually has a clip holding it together but if its broke that could be the problem

the truck rods are known for impacting the specker bolts from the rear deck when closed. start there.

Yea thats what made my rattle. Never really fixed it though. Its kind of an on off things for some reason. Certain tones makes it rattle

if u take the plastic covers out (the ones that cover the trunk) and on the right and left theirs a rubber flat. that was my problem and after spending about 8hours taking my trunk apart piece by piece, those flaps caused the problem. no rattling any more.
