Lately i've noticed that my 2k TL is stumbling when i accelerate slowly. Everything seems to be okay when i punch it but if i try to drive normal(granny mode) it seems to stumble. It's hard to describe, sometimes it feels like i tapped on the brakes and other times it feels like i've lost torque and horsepower. Last time i had problems with the car, the check engine light came on and stayed lit and the car hardly ran, it turned out to be a bad coil. This doesn't feel at all like it did with a bad coil so i'm at a loss as to what could be causing this. I just bought the chilton for it so i'm ready to start working on the car but i need some direction. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

 

sounds like a job for Seafoam to clean the crud off the pistons and valves, with a can in the gas to clean the injectors- then if its still bad- may be time for plugs
How many miles?

 

Actually i got some Lucas fuel injector cleaner yesterday and it's only half way through the tank, it's still stumbling but atleast my mpg has gotten closer to what it was. The car has 118K miles and I replaced the spark plugs when i replaced the messed up coil, which was about a year ago, i'm not sure how many miles ago though.
