2000 tl is stuck in park. figure it is something to do with brake switch solenoid. how do i manually get car into neutral, so i can drive it to a shop?

 

There 's a small cover on the shift plate .. remove it with a small crewdriver ...
put a car key in it and try to shift ........

 

u can do that, but i bet ur brakelights arent gunna work. u cant get outta park cause of your brakelight switch is probly getting stuck or its going bad. mine went bad once already and gets stuck once in a while. if it is stuck u gotta get to your brake pedal, follow it to the switch and mess with it a lil. i'll take pix tomorrow.

 

sorry i took so long for the pix.
follow the brake pedal up to the switch. press the brake with one hand then press the button on the brakeswitch with one finger and let it pop out. it works for me every time.
