Steering wheel radio controls=Help!

Any suggestions on a fix for this problem. My radio controls on my 2003 Type S only work when the steering wheel is moved off center. If the wheel is turned to the right or left the controls work but not when it's on center. If I pull the left side of the steering wheel towards me then the controls work when it's on center. Probably a connection problem in the steering wheel itself.

It is a fairly common problem with grounding on the clockspring device behind the steering wheel. It can affect any of the controls on the steering wheel.

It is simple fix if you are able to remove the steering wheel. There is an Acura Service Bulletin on how to repair it.
Do a search for like "clockspring bulletin" or clockspring repair.
