I have no idea how to slip out my 99 tl rack i have it just moving around.I tried pulling it out through side on either side and it wont pull out any one has pics or video to show how.

 

I have done three steering racks on my car, Advance Auto Parts are garbage with steering racks. I don't know if by know you figured it out but after taking all the lines off, tie-rods etc. Make sure you remove that hose fitting that the rubber hose was attached to, next to the metal lines. Then you want the rack situated as if the wheels were turned all the way to the left. Then shove the rack to the passenger side, pull the driver side of the rack down and out. Sort of in a vertical Z pattern.
