99 TL 197000 miles
Had a strange problem few days ago. But now the problem has gone away.
I started the car and the RPM did not go above 1000. The car shook a little bit, struggled to keep running and shutdown . It did that a few more times when I tried starting it.
Now its cranking up fine.

Any thoughts as to why this might have happened?

 

Samething with mine i have to feed it gass when it does it..someone told me it had something to do with the 02 sensor

 

Sounds like a dirty Idle Air Valve. Do a search on it, you'll see other people's symptoms. You can clean it, or if that doesn't work, replace.
