stalling after cold start
stalling after cold start
i own a 2000 acura integra, runs good all day. in the morning only i start my car, after five minutes (during idle or driving) my car stalls. Try restart and won't, wait five minutes starts right up and runs fine all day. I have noticed some sputtering at high rpm's. I paid a mechanic $40 to tell my it MIGHT be the distributor. previous owner replaced the ignition and coil 7 months ago, cat a year ago. I've done plugs, rotor, cap, wires in last two months. looking to see if anyone else has suggestions before i do the distributor (i just find it hard to believe the distributor only acts up after an overnight sit) it starts fine after work and any other time. oh when i'm on the highway say 70 miles in the car start to jerk or hesitate. this has been an issue for 4 months. please help if im late one more time to work im wrote up. leaving the house early but never know if it will continue to start back up. thanks for any help. 207000 miles ive also ran seefome and my oil cap smells like gas. this is a 1.8 liter dual overhead 5 speed
