SRS Light Aftermarket steering wheel
So I recently just installed a aftermarket steering wheel. During that process to make the SRS light turn off I put a 2 ohm resistor to make the light turn on then off.
While I went on my test drive with the steering wheel I didnt center the clock spring and snapped it internally which caused the srs light to come on.
So I ordered a new clock spring and installed it with the two ohm resistor and did the srs reset and the light is still on.
How I know its fixed is because I didnt have a horn before and now I do. Im curious as to see if theres like a hard code set or something internally screwed up. Id also like to see if theres a software so I can delete the hard code if there is one.
thank you
