Removed and reinstalled the evaporator yesterday and now my SRS light is on. I obviously had to unplug the yellow airbag connector on the passenger side when removing the evaporator. I tried to disconnect and reconnect the plug and also tried disconnecting the negative battery cable. No luck. The SRS light is still on.

Is there anyway to reset this or should I not worry about it?

 

I believe only the dealer can reset it or more correctly, someone with an HDS

 

That's disappointing. So no work around for that....bummer

 

Get an HDS? it MAY be something they will do for free... MAY.....

Just a dealership right? My normal mechanic probably doesn't have the machine? I guess I can call him since he specializes in Acuras/Hondas.

Also....the donut trick works all the time

 

Call your mechanic and ask if he has an HDS TOOL!

 

my mechanic has a "Snap-on" hand-held machine/tablet that controls most cars ECUs.
call your mechanic and ask if he has the handheld to reset the SRS light

 

Or you can try and DIY:
