SRS light

This SRS is bothering me a lot, I had it reset by the mechanic. When ever the front passenger adjust their position or sits in certain position the yellow airbag light comes on and triggers this red SRS light. Can some one suggest some ideas to stop this. thank you.

Get what ever is causing it fixed? It sounds like there is a faulty OPD unit. You should bring it to the dealer to get repaired.

Call acura customer care with your VIN number in hand and ask about the occupant position sensor warranty

Then call your local dealer for appointment

When the passenger leans out of normal position- the yellow light comes on meaning
no airbag op on that side- until they sit normal again

The red light should not be coming on - unless- problem with OPDS warranty item to 150 thousand miles or 10 years

I do remember seeing a recall or warranty thing about the SRS light. Check into your owner link, or just call the ACura dealer. I remember getting the notice in the mail.

Do the online acura registration and call them too.
Sometimes these are important items to be fixed, or glad to know there is an extended warranty period
