speedomter delay

I've tried searching but came up with no answers. My speedometer is extremely delayed for some reason. When I'm at a stop sign, it will still read like 30 or so. Also when I start putting on the gas, the speedometer still reads at 0. Only recently has this been happening. There's no way I could have only noticed this now after driving it for a year. It's a 03 ABP Tl-S btw. Any ideas?

sticking....weird tho if u never opened it. try this, when u are at the stop sign again, and it is stuck at 30, hit the top part of the dash to see if it drops to 0 or stay there, if it drops ur needle is sticking

You think it might be easier to just replace the whole thing?
